How did I do with my goals for the month of November? Let’s see:
(*) Reign it in: Utter and catastrophic fail. I did not reign in the grocery bill. Not even a little bit, because when I wrote this goal, I did not factor in the fact that we were hosting Thanksgiving. Hosting Thanksgiving means trips to the grocery store for items that we don’t normally stock. So the grocery bill was not reduced in any way. However there were 2 bright spots. The first bright spot was that when we wanted veggie burgers and didn’t have any in our freezer, my husband right then and there, just made some out of ingredients we already had. He’s amazing like that. 😉 The second bright spot is that I was able to stretch several meals into leftovers, so that saved on food.
Do what you can, right?
(*) Sell some stuff: To be honest, I totally forgot about this goal *sheepish*
(*) Step it up: I rocked this goal! Woo hoo!! That pedometer became my new best friend. It was with me every day and I really tried to amp up my walking as much as possible.
(*) Donate books: Score! Totally did this and my books have a new home at our local library.
Did you accomplish your goals for November?
