So I’ve been de-cluttering and throwing out stuff in order to start my pre-packing. We are going to be moving, and this first step before packing is essential. It is vital. There is nothing worse than moving to your new place, opening up a moving box, and staring at what’s inside thinking “Why the %^@* did I pack that?” Y’all know what I’m talking about So, I’ve been working on that before pulling out the moving boxes and doing the most fun task ever!
A few weeks ago, I mentioned that our couch had seen better days.
Cujo My cat thinks it is his personal scratching post and has blatantly ignored our attempts to, I don’t know, um, stop! So my husband and I decided that our over 10 year-old couch needs to be replaced with a brand new one. Couch plastic surgery is way too much money, and we really want something durable that will last us another 10 years, at least. We are going to try and sell our current couch (hopefully?) right before we move, and maybe some Craiglister will want it.
I’ve been doing really well with working out, although today my knee decided it didn’t want to work out, and promptly stopped working. Yeah, awesome. So I am icing it, and hopefully I can get back to the intensity I’ve been at previously.
Two special shout-outs are in order!
First, is to Travis, who has been my mentor during the Bloggers helping Bloggers program! He rocks, just so ya know He is so knowledgeable and has helped me tremendously. Plus, he’s super nice! Thanks Travis for everything!!!
Second shout-out is to my girl Tonya, who blogs over at Budget and the Beach. She is a volleyball loving, video editing, future financial goddess, who happens to also be an awesome blogger. Tonya loves the beach as much as I do, and she is a really great person. Also, she shares a love of The Vampire Diaries, which is A-Okay in my book Seriously, if you are not reading her blog, you are missing out!
Hope everyone is doing well!
