One of my personal goals this year, is to get back to my pre-baby weight. As much as celebrity magazines would like to promote the idea that the weight just “fell off” after giving birth, it is complete BS. It doesn’t fall off. Rather, it just spreads out around the hip and thigh area, and stays for the long haul.
Unless you choose to do something about it.
I’ve chosen to shed these pounds and inches and I’ve done pretty well so far.
But here’s the thing…for those of you who are fitness buffs…is exercise stuff part of your finances or do you have to rein it in?
When it comes to exercise equipment, fitness DVD’s, new workout gear, apps… how do you stop from jumping off the cliff, so to speak? Cause, I want it ALL!
I want a treadmill.
I want new workout clothes.
I want this gadget from Nike that you wear around your arm, and it tracks steps, calories, pupil dilation, etc…
Okay, maybe the pupil thing is not part of the package, but you know what I mean! It tracks EVERYTHING! And I want it!
Just picture the girl from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory right now…
“I want the world…I want the whole world….I want to lock it all up in my pocket…Give it to me now!!!”
This where I am right now. I want all the fitness stuff a girl can desire. But that whole money thing is an issue right now, obviously.
Folks, how do you reconcile your budget and having a case of the “fitness wants”?
