With the holidays approaching, it’s nice to take a moment and reflect. Reflect on what is important and what I am thankful for.
I am thankful for my family and a roof over my head. For food on my table, clothes on my back, air in my lungs.
I am thankful to live in this wonderful country, that allows us to express our opinions, to wade in its waters, to run through its fields. No land is perfect, no country without fault, but ours is a pretty darn good one, I would say.
I am thankful to our military whose courage and bravery, keep me and my loved ones safe and allow us to sleep soundly at night.
It’s easy to get caught up in the day-to-day minutiae, and forget to say thank you.
I have a lot to be thankful for this season. I feel blessed.
And I am thankful.
What are you grateful for this holiday season?
