So unbeknownst to myself, I hit the “200 post” mark last week. I know, right? Time flies when you are having fun!
Since that is a pretty big milestone to hit in the blogging world, I thought I’d share the good and the bad about blogging, based on my own personal experiences.
The Community: I have “met” so many awesome bloggers! I love reading what others have to say and I love to learn new things. Whether it be personal finance, “mom” blogs, or whomever; we all have a voice and sharing what we know, and the interaction, is something I love!
That being said…
There Are Haters: Wow, are there ever! It’s sad, but there are people out there who have nothing better to do, then “hate”. They sit behind their computer screen and spew out filth, and then hit “reply”. They suck. Period. End of story.
Blogger Burnout: It exists, yo. It really does. If it hasn’t hit you yet, well…be on the look-out for it. It hits you when you least expect it. But once it passes (and it will), just get back on that proverbial horse, and type away!
What You Talk About Changes: And that’s okay. Some days, I’m really personal finance-ish, and then other days, I want to talk “mom stuff”. And that’s what I do. We blog and write because we have something to say. If you change topics or go back and forth between some different stuff, so be it. It’s all good.
Meeting Bloggers in Real Life: Unlike Bigfoot sightings, meeting bloggers in real life does happen! And it’s a cool experience to put a face to a name 😀 And the best part, they really do become your friends, your real friends, with cell phone numbers and everything 😉
What do you like and/or dislike about blogging? I want to know!
