Time flies. The older you get, the more it seems like time moves at a warp speed. There are still things that I want to do.
New hobbies to take up. New things to task my brain with.
And I want to learn.
I wish I knew how… to sew. Seriously, I can’t even loop a stitch. (Is that even the correct terminology?) I wish I could do it and hem these pants that are waaaaay too long, for starters.
I wish I knew how… to knit. Yes, along the same lines as the sewing thing above, but I know enough to know that knitting a scarf and patching a hole in my jeans are two different things
I wish I knew how… to speak another language. I took Spanish in high school and a semester in college, but that was a million years ago, and knowing random words and phrases, just isn’t enough. And if I could learn French too, that would be awesome!
I wish I knew how… to invest. This is definitely a personal finance thing. I really do want to learn about investing, but my brain just shuts down the minute someone starts explaining it. Everything sounds like “blah, blah, money, blah, blah, investing, blah, blah, blah…” I know I’m not the only one, right? 😉 I know I just need to focus and really try to listen. Try being the operative word.
I wish I knew how… to be more technologically savvy. Technology is not my strongest interest. I think I belong in another century with typewriters and Miss Moneypenny. I know I need to learn more…sigh…but, can’t I just write a letter?
What do you wish you knew how to do?
